ABOUT Aalo aur anardana crispy parantha RECIPE

Traditional breakfast receipe of north india. Its my mom's special receipe. Everyone loves it.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For stuffing :
  2. Boiled potatoes 3 large
  3. Onion 1/3 sliced
  4. Green chillies 2
  5. Anardana powder 2 teaspoon
  6. Salt according to taste
  7. Chat masala 1 Teaspoon
  8. Coriander seeds coarsely ground​ 1 teaspoon
  9. Cumin 1 teaspoon
  10. Carrom seeds
  11. red chilli powder 1/4 teaspoon
  12. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  13. Fresh green coriander and mint leaves
  14. For Dough:
  15. All purpose flour 3 cup
  16. Salt a pinch
  17. Ghee 1 teaspoon
  18. Water for kneading dough
  19. For frying:
  20. Oil / ghee as per ur choice

Instructions

  1. Make a soft dough mixing all the dough ingredients. Cover it with wet cloth.
  2. Mash potatoes well and mix all ingredients of stuffing.
  3. Now make round chapati and fill 1/2 spoon stuffing. And roll then make Parantha of it.
  4. Put it on hot tawa and cook from both sides. Apply oil or ghee on both sides. Fry well. Your Parantha is ready.
  5. Serve it with pickle, chutney and curd.
