My nani used to make these when we were small. Kids love to eat the soft banana bhakri

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Ripe Banana 2 ( big)
  2. Wheat flour 1/2 to 3/4 Cup.
  3. Coconut grated 1 tbsp
  4. Sesame seeds roasted 1 tsp
  5. Ghee 1/2 tsp.
  6. Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Mash banana. Add grated Coconut and Sesame seeds.
  2. Now start adding flour. You don't have to add any water.
  3. Add slowly by mixing it and kneading.
  4. Add the amount of floor you can add to knead a dough little tighter than roti.
  5. When done mix half tsp of melted ghee (*clarified butter) to it so that you can roll bhakhri easily.
  6. Now make 6 balls. Roll bhakhri little thicker than roti.
  7. Roast on a griddle. Turn first side half cooked. Apply oil and flip over.
  8. Apply oil on other side and roast both sides well
  9. You can serve this by spreading sugar or jam or with a simple aaloo veggie.
