A delicious, healthy and fruity cake

Ingredients Serving: 6

Butter 1 cup
Sugar 2 1/4 cup
Eggs 6
Vanilla Essence 2 tsp
Curd 1 cup
Maida 2 cup
Wholewheat 1cup
Cornflour 1/4 cup
Salt 1tsp
Baking powder 2 tsp
Fresh Strawberry 400 gms
Sugar 2 tbsp

Instructions

Preheat oven to 175 degrees C
Grease the baking mould with butter and sprinkle some maida
Sift together maida,atta,baking powder and salt
Hull the strawberries and cut them into small pieces
Beat butter and sugar till sugar it becomes creamy in texture
Add eggs one by one
Add vanilla essence
Add curd
Add dry ingredients
Puree few strawberries with little sugar in a blender
Add strawberries and mix lightly
Do not overbeat
Pour the half batter in a baking pan and then a layer of puree and then then batter again
Add the reserved strawberry slices and press down a little
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes till a toothpick inserted comes out clean
