ABOUT Badam Kulfi RECIPE

Kulfi is a traditional Indian ice cream prepared with condensed sweetened milk and various flavourings such as Kesar Pista, malai, rose or fruity flavours. Here is a simple recipe for kulfi

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Milk 1 liter
  2. Almond powder- 1 cup
  3. Sugar-1 cup
  4. Chopped almonds- 2 tbsp
  5. Elachi powder- 1 tsp
  6. Almond essence- 3 drops
  7. Saffron - 5 strands ( soaked in warm milk )

Instructions

  1. Boil milk in a heavy bottomed pan
  2. Add sugar, almond powder, almond essence, elachi powder, saffron milk, chopped almonds and cook well till it reaches a thick consistency.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool for 15 mins and pour it into kulfi moulds.
  4. Keep it in the freezer for 6 to 7 hours.
  5. Enjoy chilled kulfi
