Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Ghee 1/3rd cup
  2. Whole wheat flour 2/3rd cup
  3. Grated Jaggery 1/4 cup
  4. Chopped dry fruits (optional)
  5. ilaichi powder 1/2 tsp

Instructions

  1. First of all prepare a plate for setting sukhadi. Grease the plate with ghee both bottom and sides.
  2. Heat the pan and heat ghee,turn flame to low
  3. Once ghee is slightly melted,add wheat flour.
  4. Mix with spatula,it will be like a paste.
  5. Roast it till flour colour starts changing and you get a nice aroma. Stir continuously. It will take 4/5 minutes.
  6. When flour is roasted, turn off the gas.
  7. Now add grated Jaggery,it will start melting,mix it quickly.
  8. Add ilaichi powder.
  9. Now quickly transfer this on the greased plate.
  10. Level the surface using the back of a spatula or a katori.
  11. Let it cool slightly. When still warm.cut into desired shapes.
  12. Serve
