ABOUT Rice Roti ( Rice Pancakes) RECIPE

Power packed flatbread. Needs no fermentation.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Parboiled rice - 1 cup
  2. Raw rice - 1 cup
  3. Grated coconut - 1 and 1/2 cup
  4. Salt to taste
  5. butter

Instructions

  1. Soak both raw rice and parboiled rice together for 6 hours. Grind to a smooth batter. Add grated coconut and salt while grinding.
  2. The batter should be thick.
  3. Heat a Pan. Add butter. Pour a ladle full of batter.
  4. Let the batter spread by itself.
  5. Close the lid, Keeping the flame low.
  6. Now apply little butter and flip the roti.
  7. Roast well and serve hot with pickle or butter.
