Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Whole wheat - 3 1/2 cup
  2. Salt - 1teaspoon
  3. Sugar - 1tablespoons
  4. Active dry yeast - 1tablespoons
  5. Oil - 1/4 cup
  6. Lukewarm water - 1 1/4 cup
  7. For the topping
  8. Tomato large - 1no cut into ring pieces
  9. Onion - 1 large chopped
  10. Olive oil for drizzle
  11. freshly chopped coriander leaves
  12. Garlic salt to sprinkle
  13. Coarsely grounded black pepper- 1teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Assemble all the dry ingredients .
  2. Combine yeast and sugar in a bowl .
  3. Add water and let it sit undisturbed for 7 - 8 minutes . Yeast will become frothy and bubbly .
  4. Combine whole wheat , salt and oil in a bowl and add activated yeast , then pour in lukewarm water and mix the dough until smooth .
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth for 30 - 35 minutes to rise or until doubled in size .
  6. Preheat the oven 200°c , poke holes in the dough to create indents all over the surface .
  7. Drizzle oil generously .
  8. Feel free to add chopped onions for extra crunch , add coarsely grounded black pepper , coriander leaves , ring tomatoes and sprinkle some garlic salt .
  9. Transfer it to the preheated oven and bake for 20 - 25 minutes .
  10. Enjoy
