ABOUT Stuffed paneer kulchas RECIPE

Delicious soft kulchas stuffed with soft paneer, and absolute melt in the mouth compliment.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maida - 1 cup
  2. Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
  3. Baking Soda - 1/4 tsp
  4. salt - 1 tsp
  5. Yoghurt - 2 tbsp
  6. Refined Oil - 1 tbsp
  7. Milk - 1/4 cup
  8. Red chilly powder
  9. Paneer filling :
  10. Grated Paneer - 1/2 cup
  11. Salt
  12. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  13. Garam masala powder - 1/4th tsp

Instructions

  1. Knead a soft dough with the ingredients. Leave it for 2 hrs.
  2. Now mix the Paneer with the masalas and make small balls of it. Now divide the dough into small balls and insert the Paneer balls into them and shape.
  3. Now roll out the dough, put on a greased heated pan. Apply some water on top, sprinkle red chilly powder. Cover and toast on both sides.
  4. Serve with melted butter on top.
  5. P.S : a small tip for the stuffing to not come out of the kulchas while cooking or rolling is that the dough should be very soft just like cotton. Also, the Paneer should be at room temperature so that it can be rolled easily.
