A tangy peppy chutney that goes well with idli and dosas. Also can be a very good dip for pakoras, potato chips, nachos and vadas.
Very very delicious chutney. I always make it along with dosas

Heat the oil and add the cumin and the garlic. Saute for a while.
Now add the chopped onion and saute for 2 to 3 mins.
Add the chilli flakes and the chopped tomatoes. Let them cook until tender.
Allow it to cool and blend using a little water. If it requires, only then use it, otherwise no need at all.
Temper the chutney and serve it accordingly. Tempering gives it a nice flavour and aroma.
