ABOUT Potato hearts RECIPE

These potato hearts are easy to make in just half an hour. Crunchy outside and soft inside.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Potatoes-2
  2. Salt- as per our taste
  3. Lemon juice- 1 tsp
  4. Coriander leaves- finely chopped- 1 spoon
  5. Bread slices-4
  6. Bread powder -( from the left over bread in which we take heart shape)
  7. Wheat flour- 2 spoons
  8. Orange food colour- a pinch

Instructions

  1. 1. Boil potatoes with little salt. After done, peel the skin and mash it in a bowl when hot.
  2. In that mashed potato add salt, Coriander leaves and lemon juice.
  3. Now take 2 bread slices at a time. Take a heart shaped cutter and press it into it. We get 2 hearts. In between 2 hearts, applr a spoon of potato mixture.
  4. In a small plate, take wheat flour and orange food colour and make it like a thick batter with little water.
  5. With the bread slices left after cuttibg heart shapes, place them on a tawa without oil and roast for 5 minutes.
  6. Transfer to a mixie jar and make bread crumbs
  7. Now take our potato hearts and dip in batter and roll it in bread crumbs and place them on a plate. Arrange all and then in a dosa tawa, add oil generously and when hot, place these potato hearts and fry on both sides.
  8. Our crispy potato hears are ready to serve along with ketchup
