Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Spinach leaves 20 to 25
  2. Salt to taste
  3. Gram flour 4 tbsp
  4. Green chili paste 1 tsp
  5. Red chili powder 2 tsp
  6. Turmeric powder 1 pinch
  7. coriander powder 1 tbsp
  8. Roasted cumin powder 1 tsp
  9. Dry mango powder 1 tbsp
  10. Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  11. Oil for frying
  12. Garam masla as required .

Instructions

  1. Clean the leaves and wash them and then pet dry with a soft cloth. Mix the gram flour, salt, and spices instead of oil in a large bowl and make a thick batter by adding the water.
  2. Now apply the mixture onto the spinach leaves one by one and make a bundle at least 6 leaves. Boil the water in steamer and steam the bundles till they cook.
  3. Cool them and cut into slices. Heat the oil in a pan and golden fry the pieces. Serve hot with green chutney.
