ABOUT Goan Fish Curry RECIPE

Its a deliicous fish curry prepared with freshly ground masala.Here i prepared with anchovies fish.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Anchovies fish - 1/2 kg
  2. Raw mango - 1 small size
  3. FOR MASALA
  4. Kashmiri chillies - 7
  5. Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
  6. black pepper -1 tsp
  7. Coriander seeds -2 tsp
  8. Methi seeds -1/4 tsp
  9. Turmeric Powder -1/2 tsp
  10. Cumin seeds -3/4 tsp
  11. Tamarind - 1 small lemon size
  12. Ginger -1/2 inch piece
  13. Garlic -6 cloves

Instructions

  1. *Clean and wash the fish,keep it aside.
  2. *Grind the masala ingredients given above to a fine paste.
  3. *Add the ground paste in a cooking vessel. then add the water and salt.Adjust the water consistency as per your choice.
  4. *Switch on the flame cover it with lid and boil .once the raw smell goes away add the raw mango pieces and cook it for 2-3 mins.
  5. *Finally add the cleaned fish and cook for 2 mins.Switch off the flame.
  6. *Now the delicious fish curry is ready to serve !!
