This is a delicious and amazing recipe to make a different stuffed parathas to be served to your family or friends.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup boiled chana dal
  2. 1/4 cup onion ( chopped)
  3. 3,4 garlic ( chopped)
  4. Small ginger ( chopped)
  5. 2,3 green chilies ( chopped)
  6. Coriander leaves ( chopped)
  7. Kasuri metthi - 1 tbsp
  8. 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
  9. 1/4 tsp coriander powder
  10. 1/4 th tsp cumin powder
  11. 1/4 tsp hing powder [asafoetida]
  12. Salt
  13. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  14. 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
  15. Coriander leaves
  16. Few curry leaves
  17. refined oil
  18. Wheat flour/ maida

Instructions

  1. To make the stuffing, boil the dal, drain and keep aside. Then heat little oil in apan, add the garlic, once it starts smelling, add the chopped onion, chillies, ginger.
  2. Then add the spices, kasuri methi, coriander and curry leaves, salt. cook for few seconds and then add the boiled dal. Cook until the stuffing is dry and all the water is dried up. Leave it aside to cool.
  3. now knead a semi soft dough using the flour, salt, oil and some water. leave it aside to rest for 10 minutes. Make small roundels out of the dough, stuff them with little dal stuffing and reshape them.
  4. Now roll each paratha and shallow fry them using some oil. serve with some chutney and curd.
