In south fresh n good quality pomegranate n beetroot r easily available in this season moreover very cheap .this recipe is full of minerals n vitamins this recipe is children's favourite n fully my invention

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Pomegranate 4 medium size
  2. Beetroot 1medium size(grated)
  3. Sugar 3 cups
  4. Citric acid 2 tsp
  5. Vanilla essence 3-4drops(optional)

Instructions

  1. Wash n cut anaar(pomegranate) take out all the seeds n blend in mixer grinder
  2. Now sieve this anaar juice
  3. keep 1tbsp of this residue and discard remaining residue
  4. Boil grated beet . anaar juice and 1tbsp juice residue which was kept aside (,this will give crunchy taste in jam ) for 10min in medium flame on gas stove now add 3cups sugar and citric acid cook for 20-25 min
  5. In between stir so that it should not burn, Now take little mixture inbetween your 2 finger when 1 string start forming switch off gas cool n store in sterilised airtight container
  6. You can use this jam For a month or more no need to refrigerate
