ABOUT Eggless Coconut Macaroons RECIPE

Basic recipe of macaroons with little changes according to my family's taste buds.

Ingredients Serving: 4

Shredded (desiccated) coconut 2 and 1/2 cups
Sweetened condensed milk 1 cup
Milk 1/4 cup
All purpose flour (maida) 1/4 cup
Soda bi carb a pinch
Cardamom powder a pinch
Baking Powder a pinch
If you want you can add chopped almonds (I did not add)

Instructions

In a large bowl combine sweetened milk, milk.
Whisk well.
Add cardamom powder, soda , baking powder and flour and mix.
Add coconut powder and mix it well.
If after combining all ingredients batter is watery then add two teaspoon of semolina/rava.
Batter should be nice and firm.
Preheat oven on 180 C.
Drop tablespoonful of dough about one inch apart in a baking tray and bake in preheated oven at 180 C until it becomes golden around the edges (it will take approximately 15 minutes).
Let cool it for 10 minutes.
Then transfer to a container.
