This dish contains broken wheat and loads of vegetables, and is very healthy as well as easy to digest.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Daliya/Thuli/Sanja/Broken wheat 1 cup
  2. Chopped veggies of your choice (I have used carrots, corn kernels, peas, baby corn, tomato)
  3. Oil 2 tablespoon
  4. Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  5. Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  6. Green chili chopped
  7. Turmeric Powder
  8. Red chili powder
  9. Coriander Powder
  10. Salt
  11. sugar 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. Dry roast daliya and keep aside
  2. Heat oil in a wok add mustard seeds cumin seeds green chili and all veggies
  3. Add red chili powder turmeric powder coriander powder roasted daliya salt and sugar
  4. Saute and cook for 2-3 minutes
  5. Carefully add 5-6 cups of water
  6. Cook uncovered on high heat for 5-6 minutes or till properly cooked
  7. Transfer to serving plate garnish with coriander leaves and serve
