ABOUT Chocolate ladoo with whole wheat flour RECIPE

This is a fusion dish, giving the Indian coconut ladoo , a chocolatey twist with the addition of wheat flour as the healthy ingredient in it.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Whole wheat flour - 1cup
  2. desi ghee -1/4 th cup
  3. Sugar -1/2 cup
  4. Dry fruits [cashew nuts, raisins, dates, almonds] - 1/4 th cup [grated or chopped very finely]
  5. Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
  6. Chocolate - 1cup

Instructions

  1. Heat a heavy bottomed kadhai with ghee, roast the wheat flour in it. When the color of the flour changes to light brown, add the sugar, mix well and keep aside to cool for sometimes.
  2. Then add the chopped dry fruits and coconut to the above mixture.
  3. Mix everything together well and make small ladoos out of the mixture, keep them aside in a greased plate.
  4. Melt the chocolate using the double boiler method, add little ghee to it for the shine on the ladoos.
  5. Dip the ladoos in the melted chocolate and cover them completely with it.
  6. Garnish the ladoos with some chopped dry fruits and let the chocolate harden up, serve.
