A Marinated and Fried Basa Fish In a Chinese Sweet and Sour Sauce for the Christmas Party ( i had eaten this in Mainland China and loved it. )
Nice basa fish recipe!
Wash Basa fillets throughly ( be careful not to break)
Beat eggs. Add soya sauce, salt and pepper and corn Starch.
Fold Basa in the mixture and refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes to marinate.
Heat oil in a pan. Fry Basa fillets carefully for 2 minutes. Take out and keep on an absorbent paper to get the extra oil soaked.
In a pan heat 1 tsp oil , add garlic , fry till brown , add Onions, fry for 3 minutes. Add Spring onions,red bell pepper.
Add 1 tbsp water , add Soya sauce, Apple cider vinegar and Honey.
Stir , add Cornflour slurry and salt pepper. Make the sauce.
Pour the sauce over the fish. Serve with buttered rice.
