Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Cabbage shredded finely - 1 cup
  2. Finely chopped onion - 2
  3. Raw rice - 1 cup
  4. Toor dal - 1/2 cup
  5. Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
  6. Salt to taste
  7. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak raw rice and dal together for 2 hours.
  2. Take a mixer and coarsely blend raw rice and dal along with salt and red chilli powder without adding any water.
  3. Transfer the contents to a bowl. Add chopped cabbage and onions. Mix well.
  4. Heat oil in a Kadai. Make small balls out of the mixture, flatten it and deep fry in oil.
