It is a Punjabi recipe and very tasty. The roti is crisp from outside and soft from inside
looks perfect!
Lovely recipe
In a bowl take all purpose flour and add salt , baking soda and 1tsp ghee
Mix well with it hands
Now add water as needed and knead a soft dough
Keep it to rest for 5 mins
Now make 7 small sized balls from the dough
Take one and roll a thin chapati and keep aside
Do the same with all 7 chapatis
Now take one chapati and spread ghee on it with your hands
Sprinkle some dry flour on it
In same manner place all chapatis one on one
Now take a knife and cut the chapati from Centre to circumference
Roll it like a cone
Flatten it with hands roll out again
Now heat up the griddle or pan
Take good amount of oil and shallow fry the roti
It will take 8 to 10 mins for cook properly from inside
Fry on slow flame
Serve hot with any sbji and raita
