ABOUT ARANCINI ITALIAN STUFFED RICE BALLS RECIPE

Arancini Italian rice balls are an yummy cheesy appetizer dipped in marinara sauce.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. White rice 2 cups ,cooked and chilled
  2. Seasoned Italian breadcrumbs1 cup
  3. Parmesan cheese 1/2 cup, grated
  4. Egg 1, whisked
  5. Mozzarella cheese 4 blocks cut in 8 pieces
  6. Marinara sauce 1 cup, for dipping
  7. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Put a frying pan on medium heat and add oil for frying.
  2. Mix the rice, Parmesan and 1 whisked egg in a medium bowl.
  3. For the rice ball take a small portion of the mixture in the palm and stuff one cube of mozzarella inside the ball.
  4. Repeat this process to form 8 such balls.
  5. Roll each ball in the breadcrumbs rolling until it is completely covered.
  6. Once the oil is hot add a few rice balls to the pan and fry them until golden brown and crispy.
  7. Serve the Arancini warm with hot marinara sauce. Enjoy!
