A very tempting cake made with gulkand (rose petals)

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Suji 1cup
  2. Oil 1cup
  3. Sugar 1cup
  4. Maida 2cups
  5. Baking powder 1/2 tsp
  6. Baking soda 1tsp
  7. Cream 1/2cup
  8. Elaichi-dalchini powder 1tsp
  9. Milk 1/2 cup
  10. Gulkand 21/2 cup
  11. For garnish - kaju, poppy seeds, raisins,tuti fruti

Instructions

  1. Grind and mix suji, oil & sugar in mixer. Put into a bowl
  2. Mix maida, baking powder and baking soda. Keep aside
  3. Pour and mix maida mixture into the suji mix. Add elaichi dalchini mix.
  4. add milk slowly to make a smooth paste .
  5. Grease the cake tin and pour the batter. Garnish with kaju, poppy seeds, tutti frutti, raisins
  6. Put into the greased pan and bake in a pre-heated oven at 180 degrees C for 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours
