ABOUT Almond Milk Smoothie RECIPE

Smoothies are basically made by using milk-- that can be dairy or non- dairy milk, fruits, veggies, nuts and seeds. Generally chia seeds or flaxseeds are used with oats, berries etc.This recipe has almond milk in the smoothie

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 1 cup almonds(soaked in water for 48 hours)
  2. 1 Cup water
  3. 1/4 cup oats( cooked in water)
  4. 8-10 raisins
  5. 1 apple
  6. 1 tsp honey
  7. A pinch of cinnamon powder

Instructions

  1. Peel soaked almonds and grind them along with a cup of water.
  2. Sieve it.
  3. The milk will get separated from the mixture. This milk is Almond milk
  4. In a mixer, add almond milk, apple,oats, raisins,honey and cinnamon powder.
  5. Grind it to make a smooth mixture.
  6. Garnish with apples.
