Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 4 tbsp wheat flour
  2. 4 tbsp maida
  3. 2 tbsps besan
  4. 2 tbsp maize flour
  5. 2 tbsp dried curry leaves powder
  6. 2 tsp of kasuri methi powder
  7. 1 tbsp rawa
  8. 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  9. 1 big bunch methi leaves cleaned, washed, and chopped
  10. Salt to taste
  11. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  12. 1 tsp garam masala
  13. 2 tsp dhania jeera powder
  14. 1 tsp haldi
  15. Pinch of hing
  16. 1 tbsp warm oil
  17. Chat masala optional
  18. Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Mix all the ingredients well.
  2. Add water and knead a dough the way you prepare for puris.
  3. Let dough rest for 10 mins.
  4. Divide the balls equally.
  5. Roll them into big rotis.
  6. Give them desired shapes with a cutter or cut square pieces.
  7. Prick them with a knife so they don't fluff while frying.
  8. Heat some oil and start frying on a medium flame so that the pieces cook well inside.
  9. Sprinkle some chat masala on top to add flavours.
