How can we ignore this basic recepie of our great great grand mother while presenting recepies with Amala. I have eaten lots and lots in my childhood so i don't get Cold and cough every now and than. Even i stay with the person having cold i don't get infections soon. ( touch wood).
Select big sized Amala. ( with smaller seeds).
Wash them in sufficient amount of water.
Make slits with knife or make holes with safety pin or needle.
Take water in glass bottle to soak Amala . It should dip in it.
Add enough salt to taste salty.
Add turmeric and Vinegar.
Soak Amala in it. Close the lid and preserve for 4 to 6 days.
Your Amala are ready.
