ABOUT Coconut Mawa Barfi RECIPE

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 2 cups desiccated coconut
  2. 1 cup khoya, grated
  3. 1 and 1/2 cup sugar
  4. 1/2 tsp yellow colour
  5. 1 tsp elaichi/ cardamom powder

Instructions

  1. Heat a pan on flame, then put in the khoya and saute it for a few minutes.
  2. Next, add coconut and fry it for 2 minutes. Now add in the sugar and yellow colour.
  3. Stir it continuously till it becomes thick in texture.
  4. Grease a square mould and set it for 2 hours.
  5. Then cut it into pieces and enjoy!
