Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 500 grams boneless chicken cubes
  2. 2 tablespoons of onion paste
  3. 1 tablespoon of ginger garlic paste
  4. 1 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 egg
  6. 1/2 cup cornflour
  7. 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  8. FOR THE SAUCE
  9. 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce
  10. 4 tablespoons of soya sauce
  11. 2 tablespoons of red chilli sauce
  12. 1 teaspoon of white vinegar
  13. 1 Capsicum diced
  14. 1 large onion diced
  15. 1/2 cup chopped spring onion greens
  16. 5 green chillies coarsely chopped
  17. 8 cloves garlic coarsely chopped
  18. Salt to taste
  19. Vegetable oil for deep frying chicken

Instructions

  1. Mix the flour, cornflour , salt ,onion paste , ginger garlic paste, and egg to the chicken and leave for 15 minutes
  2. Heat oil in a wok and deep fry the chicken pieces till cooked well.
  3. Remove and keep aside.
  4. In another wok put 3 tablespoons of the hot oil and add the chopped garlic and green chillies.
  5. Add the onions and saute for a minute. Add the capsicum.
  6. Now add all the sauces , vinegar and salt to taste. Cook for a minute or two.
  7. Add the chicken pieces are toss well till all the pieces are coated with the sauce.
  8. Add the spring onion greens, toss and immediately remove from heat.
  9. Serve hot.
