Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. All purpose flour 2 cups
  2. Custard powder 1/2 cup
  3. Powdered sugar 1 cup
  4. Baking Powder 1 Tsp
  5. Rose Essence 1 tbsp
  6. Butter 1/2 cup
  7. Milk 4 tsp
  8. Tutty fruity 1/2 cup
  9. Cashew and almond silvers 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter and sugar until fluffy.
  2. Add the milk and essence to it.
  3. Sieve the all purpose flour, baking powder, custard powder. To this add tutty fruity and cashew , almonds silver.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture in batches to form a dough with help of a whisk or spatula. Don't knead the dough. The dough should be non sticky.
  5. Roll the dough into a log and tight wrap in a cling film.
  6. Refrigerate for 4 hours until the dough becomes hard.
  7. After 4 hrs preheat the oven to 180 C. Unwrap the dough and slice to 1/4 inch roundels.
  8. Bake for 12 to 14 mins until the sides turn golden brown.
  9. Cool and enjoy.
  10. They become crisp as they cool.
