Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. 4 tbsp Chia Seeds
  2. 1 1/2 - 2 cups low fat milk (more if needed)
  3. 1 tbsp Gulkand
  4. 4 tbsp Mango puree (fresh/canned)
  5. 2 tbsp chopped nuts of your choice
  6. 2 tbsp Black Raisins
  7. 1 tbsp Sunflower seeds
  8. 1/2 cup chopped apple
  9. 1 tbsp sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Soak the Chia seeds in the milk, in a bowl and refrigerate 6 hours or preferably overnight. By the next morning they would be swollen and absorbed most of the milk. Add sugar at this point if using, else add the Gulkand mixed in 2 tbsp warm milk.
  2. Mix well and keep aside.Take 2 serving bowls. I used small storage jars to give a really good look! Now divide the ingredients in the following way :
  3. Chia Seeds : 4 portions, Mango puree : 4 portions of 1 tbsp each, Nuts : 4 portions of 1/2 tbsp each, Raisins : 4 portions of 1/2 tbsp each, Sunflower seeds :2 portions of 1/2 tbsp each, Apple pieces : 4 portions
  4. Now fill each jar as follows: One portion Chia Seeds, One portion of Mango Puree - 1 tbsp, One portion of nuts, raisins and sunflower seeds - 1/2 tbsp of each respectively, First portion of chopped Apples.
  5. Second portion of Chia Seeds, Second portion of Mango Puree - 1 tbsp, Second portion of nuts and raisins (no sunflower seeds), Second portion of chopped Apples
  6. Serve as it is or refrigerate till serving time. Real yummy!
