Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 250 gms colocasia (arbi)
  2. 1 tsp chopped green chillies
  3. 1 medium finely chopped onion
  4. 2 tbsp lemon juice
  5. coriander leaves for garnishing
  6. 1 tsp Turmeric powder
  7. 1/2 cup rice flour for coating
  8. salt to taste
  9. Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Boil arbi till soft to tender, flatten them one by one with your palms, squeeze the lemon and mix well. Add salt, turmeric powder, chopped onion, chopped green chillies. Mix well again. Keep aside for half an hour to marinate boiled arbi.
  2. Coat marinated arbi with rice flour one by one. Heat oil in tava or pan according to the requirement. Put all coated arbi, let them turn crispy and golden brown. Tawa arbi is ready to serve.
