ABOUT Coffee Oreo No bake cheese cake RECIPE

I had a basic no bake cheese cake recipe which I had tried from internet some months ago, but this is tweaked by replacing philadelphia cream cheese with hung curd made at home. And I used oreo along with coffee to give a distinct but amazing flavour.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. Oreo vanilla cookies 8-10
  2. Whipping cream (chilled) 250 gms
  3. Hung curd - 100 gms
  4. Paneer or cottage cheese crumbled - 3 tbsp
  5. Powdered sugar 3 tbsp
  6. Unsalted melted butter 2-3 tbsp
  7. Coffee 1/2 tsp
  8. Vanilla Essence 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Take 8-9 Oreo biscuits in a bowl and crush them very finely almost like a powder. Add the unsalted melted butter and mix well.
  2. Using a spring form pan you can set the mix on that and press evenly with a spatula. Else use desert cups like I have used and set this mix in 8 different cups.
  3. Take the whipping cream in a bowl and use an electric mixer or whisk and beat the cream until soft peaks start forming and cream doubles. Now put it back in the fridge. Note that before you start whisking, the cream should be chilled.
  4. In another bowl mix the hung curd, crumbled paneer, powdered sugar, vanilla essence. Mix really well to make a creamy mixture. Now add the whipped cream to this mix and again whisk well.
  5. Add 2-3 very well crumbled oreo biscuits to this mix and add the coffee powder and mix well.
  6. Now add this mixture either to your spring form pan or your desert bowls where you have put the oreo butter base. Cut oreo biscuits into half and decorate from top.
  7. Keep these in the fridge and set for atleast 6-7 hours . Enjoy your yummy desert. :)

I really like the fact that you have replaced the cream cheese with hung curd. I hate relying on store bought stuff for desserts.
