ABOUT Caramelised Banana Fry RECIPE

Caramelised Banana fry is one of the most quick and easy dishes. This is a kids friendly dish that can be prepared for snacks box.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Kerala Banana ( Nedrapazham) - 2 Nos (Ripe)
  2. Cardamom Powder :- 1 tsp
  3. Sugar :- 2 tbsp
  4. Grated Coconut:- 2 tbsp
  5. Ghee :- 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cut banana in circles.
  2. Heat ghee in a non stick pan, add sugar and allow it to caramelise, until it turns brown.
  3. Once sugar turns brown, add cardamom powder, fry for a second and add sliced banana. Allow it cook on low heat until it turns crispy and brown in color.
  4. Flip other side of banana and cook until it gets crispy.
  5. Add grated coconut, stir once and switch off the heat and serve hot.
