Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. 2 cups moong dal, washed
  2. 1 cup rice
  3. Ingredients for stuffing:
  4. 1 capsicum
  5. 1 onion
  6. 1 tomato
  7. 1 cup soya granules
  8. 50 gm beans
  9. 1 carrot
  10. 1-2 green chillies
  11. 1 tbsp oil
  12. 1/3 tsp garam masala
  13. 1/3 tsp haldi/ turmeric
  14. 1/2 tsp pav bhaji masala
  15. Salt to taste
  16. Oil to make the chila

Instructions

  1. Soak the dal and rice for 4-5 hrs then make a smooth and semi-thick batter of it.
  2. Take a non-stick kadai and heat some oil in it. Once the oil is hot, put in the chopped green chillies and onion. Saute till it is pink in color, then add all the finely chopped vegetables, salt and cook till it's soft.
  3. Add the soaked soya granules along with all the masalas, let it cook till it is completely dry and cooked.
  4. Take a non-stick pan and make the the chila from the batter. Then fill it with the stuffing.
  5. Serve them hot with any sauce or dip on the side.
