These bites made from tapoica root is an awesome appetizer/ snack for kids. Its a different and healthy one perfect to pack for kids snack box that will be loved by kids.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Tapioca 250 gms
  2. Cheese cubes 6 (cut into half)
  3. Grated carrot 1
  4. Chopped onion 1
  5. Green chilli 1
  6. Rice flour 1 tablespoon
  7. Corn flour 1 tablespoon
  8. Red chili powder 1/2 teaspoon
  9. Pepper powder 1/2 teaspoon
  10. Amchur powder 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Crushed peanuts 1 tablespoon
  13. Coriander leaves few
  14. Salt to taste
  15. Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
  16. Oil for shallow frying

Instructions

  1. Peel the tapioca skin chop them into cubes and pressure cook until soft. Allow it to cool and then mash them
  2. Marinate cheese cubes with lemon juice and pepper powder. This will help to get perfect blend of taste while eating
  3. Add in all other ingredients to mashed tapioca except oil and combine well
  4. Divide them into equal size balls. Now press the centre and place a cheese cube inside and cover the ball
  5. repeat the same for all the balls
  6. Heat oil and shallow fry them until Golden brown. Drain excess oil in a paper towel. Yummy tapioca cheese bites are ready to serve
