Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chicken filling:
  2. Chicken breast-250 gms
  3. Tomato -1 chopped
  4. Vegetable oil-2tbsp
  5. Ginger garlic paste- 1 tbsp
  6. Onion -2 chopped
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
  9. Chilli powder-1 tsp
  10. Garam masala pwdr-1/2 tsp
  11. Pepper pwdr-1/2tsp
  12. Coriander leaves-2 tbsp
  13. Batter:
  14. Egg 2
  15. Wheat flour-1 cup
  16. Milk-1cup
  17. Vegetable oil-1/2cup
  18. Baking powder-1/2tsp
  19. Salt to taste
  20. To Grease
  21. Veg oil -2tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cook chicken breast with turmeric pwdr,salt and 1/2 cup water in pressure cooker for 7 min.
  2. Heat a pan and add veg oil.Add ginger garlic paste.saute for a min and add chopped onions.Add salt required for onions.saute in medium flame.
  3. After 5 mins add chilli pwdr.saute these.
  4. Now add chopped tomato .saute till raw smell goes.
  5. Now add minced chicken and saute for almost 3 mins. Now add 1/2tsp garam masala and 1/2tsp pepper pwdr .
  6. At last add 2tbsp coriander leaves.switch off the flame and keep this aside.
  7. Preheat a pan with a sauce pan kept inside the pan.
  8. Brush pan with oil.close with lid.preheat for 10 mins at medium flame.
  9. To prepare the batter sieve 1 cup wheat flour with 1/2 tsp baking powdr.
  10. In a mixy jar .Beat 2 eggs at room temperature with 1/2 cup veg oil.
  11. Beat these for a min.Transfer this to a large bowl.Add the sieved flour to the egg mixture along with milk (room temperature)in two batches.
  12. Add required salt for the batter.
  13. Change the flame to sim.pour half of the batter to the preheated sauce pan.spreas to all sides.
  14. Spread the filling in the middle .make it even.
  15. Pour the remaining batter without any gaps.
  16. Garnish with some coriander leaves .Then close the lid and bake at low flame for 30 min.
  17. After 30 mins insert a skewer.if it come out dry,the cake is ready .keep it outside the pan for 20 mins undisturbed before demoulding.
  18. Keep the sauce pan upside down and the cake will come out easily.
  19. Yummy chicken cake is ready
