ABOUT Almond cookies RECIPE

This recipe is made of wheat flour and almond powder.These are very healthy and protein rich cookies.Provides instant energy for kids during their busy schedules.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat Flour 3/4 cup
  2. Almond powder (coarse) 1/2 cup
  3. Almonds 10 to 15 ( halved/ sliced )
  4. powdered sugar 1/2 cup
  5. Unsalted butter 2 table spoons
  6. Salt a pinch
  7. Cardamom powder 1/2 tea spoon
  8. Baking powder 1/4 Tea spoon
  9. Milk 4 table spoons

Instructions

  1. Make coarse powder of almonds and mix it with seived wheat flour,baking powder and salt
  2. Take unsalted butter which is of room temperature.Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder and mix it well with a spatula or wired whisk
  3. Now add flour mixture to the butter mixture and make a dough by adding 2 to 3 spoons of milk
  4. Pre heat microwave at 180 degrees
  5. Divide the dough in to equal small round shapes or any other shape,press it with your palm and flatten it a bit.If there are any cracks in the cookies grease it a bit
  6. Now place an almond on each cookies and arrange it on a greased microwave safe tray.
  7. Butter paper can be used instead of greasing the tray
  8. Bake the cookies at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 to 18 minutes.Brush the cookies with milk in between the bake
  9. Healthy and crispy cookies are ready to serve
