Potato Rosti recipe is one of the most delectable and easy to make recipes. The crispy potato rosti is tender and moist inside and toasty and crispy outside. Even when you are running short on time, this step by step potato rosti recipe can come handy as it can be prepared with very few, easily available ingredients in less than an hour.Rosti recipe can be prepared with very less amount of oil is a healthy breakfast option. If you are a baking fan you can also bake them in oven/microwave with very little or no oil. This versatile recipe is an instant hit at formal dinners or kids birthday parties. Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 4 grated potatoes(clean and dry)
  2. 3 tsp cornflour
  3. Salt as required
  4. Oil for tawa fry
  5. 2 cups boiled peas
  6. 1/2 tsp chat masala
  7. 1/2 tsp Cumin powder
  8. 1 tsp red chilli powder
  9. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. Water as required consistency
  11. 1 bowl churned curd
  12. 1 bowl green coriander chutney
  13. 1 bowl dates tamarind chutney
  14. 1 bowl grated carrot
  15. 1 bowl sev/ masala peanuts

Instructions

  1. Grate potatoes and wash it 2-3 times removing all the starch from it...
  2. Drain extra water and pat dry with a cloth..
  3. Collect grated potatoes strips in a bowl..add 3 tsp cornflour and required salt in it .mix it properly (if required ..you can add more cornflour for binding properly)
  4. Heat the oil in a frying pan over medium to high heat,
  5. Drop in large tablespoonfuls of mixture and gently cook for 15 minutes turning halfway through cooking.
  6. The rosti should be golden brown and crispy on the outside and the potato cooked all the way through.
  7. Add chat masala,cumin powder, rock salt ,red chilli powder,turmeric powder to boiled peas making flowing consistency ragda.
  8. Boil for 10 min to blend the flavours well in ragda..
  9. Let's assemble now roastie, ragda,curd,chutneys.
  10. Take 2-3 potato roastie in a serving plate..
  11. Top it with generous amount of ragda...
  12. Add grated carrot,sweet chat turmerind chutney,green chutney ,churned curd on the top.
  13. Top it with seva ,roasted masala peanuts as much as you want..
  14. Serve crunchy potato roastie chat to your loved ones ...
