Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Basmati rice 1 cup
  2. Button Mushrooms 1 box
  3. Onion sliced 1 big
  4. Tomatoes 2 number
  5. Lemon juice 1 teaspoon
  6. Chilly powder 1 teaspoon
  7. Coriander powder 1)2 teaspoon
  8. Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  9. Turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon
  10. Star anise 1 number
  11. Cinnamon stick 1 inch piece
  12. Cardamom 2 numbers
  13. Clove 2 number
  14. Bay leaves 1 number
  15. Ginger garlic paste 1 tablespoon
  16. Water 1 1/2 cup
  17. Salt
  18. Ghee 2 tablespoon
  19. Coriander leaves 1/2 cup
  20. Pudina leaves 1/4 cup
  21. Chopped carrots 1 small
  22. Cauliflower 2 piece

Instructions

  1. Soak rice for 20 minutes
  2. In a cooker add ghee and fry bay leaves and other spices
  3. Add onion and saute
  4. Add ginger garlic paste
  5. Add grated tomatoes
  6. Saute well and add all powders
  7. Add all vegetables and Purina and coriander leaves chopped
  8. Mushrooms will let out water so saute well till the water dries off
  9. Add water and let it boil
  10. Add salt
  11. Taste it and a pinch of salt should be more
  12. Add rice and close the cooker without whistle
  13. Cook it in medium flame for 7 minutes
  14. Serve hot with raita
