Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 200 grams fine semolina
  2. 4 tablespoon sour curd
  3. Salt to taste
  4. Enough water to blend into a mixture
  5. Oil to shallow fry
  6. 1 small peeled , finely grated carrot
  7. 6-8 finely sliced French beans
  8. 2 tablespoon finely chopped coriander leaves
  9. 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  10. 1/2 inch peeled and grated ginger
  11. A pinch of asafoetida/hing powder

Instructions

  1. combine curd and semolina in a bowl
  2. add salt, asafoetida and mix well by adding enough water
  3. now add the ginger, cumin and vegetables
  4. mix well
  5. heat oil to shallow fry in a non stick pan
  6. add a laddleful of batter onto the center of the pan
  7. cook on Low heat by flipping sides till they brown and become crisp
  8. serve warm with peanut or any chutneys of your choice
