kuzhipaniyar is usually made with rice and dhals. Here i made a twist by adding chicpeas.. this is healthy as well as delicious quick and easy recipe apt for breakfast and evening snacks.. kids gonna love this yummy breakfast

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. roasted rice flour-1cup
  2. boiled and mashed chickpeas-1/2cup
  3. egg-1
  4. water as required to make the semiliquid consistency
  5. greenchilli-1
  6. ginger chopped-1inch
  7. onion chopped-1
  8. curry leaves-2sprigs chopped
  9. salt
  10. oil

Instructions

  1. soak the rice flour with salt and water.
  2. add enough water so that the riceflour gets soaked well and becomes soft
  3. now in a mixie jar add the soaked riceflour mashed chickpeas,egg and grind well by adding little water
  4. the consistency of batter should not be too watery or too solid it should be in between
  5. take a bowl pour the grinded mixture and add chopped onion greenchillie ginger and curryleaves
  6. heat a kuzhipaniyar pan pour oil and add a spoon of batter
  7. when one side gets cooked turn other side and fry well
  8. fry till golden on both sides
  9. best served with chutneys
