Green lollipop recipe is a delicious variation of vegetarian lollipop. Green lollipop is made with fresh lilva ( Tuver beans) green peas,coconut and poha . so they are nutritious as well as delicious. hara bhara lollipops makes for a good indian starter or snack. this green veg lollipop can also be stuffed in burger buns or sandwiches can be made from them.
In a food processor jar, add lilva (Tuver beans) , green peas, coconut, ginger, green chilies, coriander leaves, salt, sugar and lemon juice.
Blend it and make a coarse mixture.
Heat the oil in a kadhai.
Add cumin seeds, hing, the prepared coarse mixture,soaked poha , red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder.
stir fry till mixture becomes dry or leave the pan sides.
Remove it from the flame and keep aside to cool down.
Add bread crumbs .mix very well.
using greased palms make small round lollipops out of dough and put them on plate.
Coat the lollipop with corn flour slury & bread crumbs .
Apply some oil on Nonstick tava .
Shallow fry lollipops on medium flame till light golden colour.
Insert tooth pick in lollipop.
Serve hot with sweet chutney/ Green Coriander Chutney/Ketchup & with hot Cocoa to kiddos.
