Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 500 gm. Amla
  2. 500 gm. Jaggary(gud)
  3. 1 lemon juice
  4. 2 tbsp. Dry mango powder
  5. 1 tsp chat masala powder
  6. Salt to taste
  7. 1/2 tsp. Black pepper powder
  8. 1/2 tsp black salt
  9. 1 tsp dry mint powder
  10. 1 tsp roasted cumin seeds powder
  11. 1 tsp. Roasted Carrom seeds powder
  12. 1/2 cup suger powder

Instructions

  1. Boil amla in a pressure cooker for 4 whistles.
  2. After boiling separate the pulp in the jar and then grind it.
  3. Make a thick paste
  4. Take it in a wok and add jaggary pieces and mix it properly
  5. Add all dry ingredients and lemon juice except powder suger..
  6. Stir it continuesly for 10 to 15 minutes on medium flame
  7. After it gets thickend take it in a plate and let it cool completely.
  8. Now make small balls of it and roll it in powder suger
  9. Healthy and digestive amla candy (gatagat) is ready
  10. Store it in a container at cool and dry place
