Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 Cup boiled tuvar dal
  2. 1/2 Cup boiled mug dal
  3. 1 Cup chopped spinach
  4. 4 tbsp oil
  5. 1 tbsp finely chopped garlic
  6. 1 green chilli
  7. 1/2 tsp ajwain
  8. salt as per taste
  9. 1/2 tbsp red chilli powder
  10. 1/2 tbsp dhaniya jeera powder
  11. 1/4 tsp turmeric
  12. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  13. pinch hing
  14. 3 tbsp finely chopped onion
  15. 3 tbsp tomato chopped
  16. 2 Cup boiled rice
  17. 1 tbsp jeera
  18. 1 tbsp corriender
  19. water as required

Instructions

  1. For making dal: In a pan add oil ajwain,hing,onion chopped,tomato chopped,garlic, green chilli and sauté it.
  2. Now add spinach,salt as per taste,red chilli powder,turmeric powder,dhaniya jeera powder,Garam masala mix it close the lid and keep it for 4-5 minutes until spinach gets soft.
  3. Now add boiled tuver dal and mug dal mix it and add water as required and give it a boil.
  4. Now for tadka: In tadka pan take 1 tbsp oil then add jeera,garlic and little red chilli powder.
  5. Now pour this tadka on dal. And dal is ready
  6. Now for making jeera rice: In a pan add 1 tbsp oil,jeera as it get crackled then add cooked rice (basmati rice),salt ,corriender mix it well and jeera rice is also ready.
  7. Now serve hot dal tadka and jeera rice with onion,lemon and papad.
