ABOUT Bathua Raita RECIPE

winter special healthy leaves Bathua leaves are a rage of winter in northern India.Its ofcourse a healthy leafy vegeable alsp added to mustard leaves when making Sarson ka saag.boiled and ground to coarse paste and added to curds to make a healthy raita.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 1 bunch Bathua leaves
  2. 2. Cups curds
  3. Salt to taste
  4. 1/2 tspn ground pepper
  5. 1/2 tspn cummin powder
  6. 1 green chilli chopped
  7. Some coriander to garnish

Instructions

  1. Clean bathua leaves wash well
  2. Boil 5 minutes in 1 cup water and grind
  3. Beat curds well
  4. Add the ground bathua leaves
  5. Add salt ,pepper with green chilli chopped or slit as per choice
  6. Mix well and garnish with coriander
  7. Chill and serve
