Chana dal salad is a nutritious and delicious colourful salad that will brighten up any meal. This salad is rich in protein.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Chana dal one cup (bengal gram)
  2. One finally chopped onion
  3. One finally chopped deseed tomato
  4. Corriander leaves hand full
  5. One chopped carrot
  6. Finally chopped capsicum half cup
  7. One finally chopped green chilly
  8. One lemon juice
  9. Tamarind sauce one tablespoon
  10. Salt half teaspoon
  11. Chat masala one teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak chana dal in luke warm water for one hour.
  2. After that drain the water and boil it for five minutes so that it becomes little soft.
  3. Don't over cook it. Drain extra water.
  4. Take a bowl. Add chana dal in it.
  5. Add onions, tomatoes, green chilly, capsicum, carrots and corriander leaves in it. Mix well.
  6. Add salt and pepper, chat masala, Tamarind sauce and lemon juice in it. Mix well.
  7. It's ready. Serve it.
