ABOUT Eggless Butter Cookies RECIPE

Hello my dear friends what's your favorite snack that you like to munch upon with your coffee or tea. I just love to nibble on my homemade cookies. They are crunchy from outside and at the same time soft from inside. My little munchkin loves them too and so yesterday surprised her with 3 different flavoured cookies.

Ingredients Serving: 8

  1. 3 cups of all purpose flour
  2. 1.5 cup of chilled butter
  3. 1.5 cup of sugar
  4. 3 tsp of baking powder
  5. 3 pinches of salt.
  6. 3 tbsp of milk.
  7. 8-9 roasted and grounded Pistachio
  8. 8-9 roasted and grounded almonds
  9. 1/3 cup assorted candied fruits
  10. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  11. 1 tsp rose essence
  12. 1 tsp orange essence
  13. Edible green color a pinch.
  14. A pinch of edible orange color.

Instructions

  1. The cookie dough is same for all the cookies. We only have to add flavors later on.
  2. So for making the basic dough for cookies sieve the flour along with baking powder and add to it sugar,butter and salt. Bring this mixture together by adding 3 tbsp milk to it.
  3. Now the flavoring part I divided the cookie dough in 3 equal parts.
  4. For Orange and tuttifruti(candied fruits) cookies
  5. To the first batch of dough I added orange essence ,orange colour and tutti fruti. I mixed it properly and shaped it into a log and refrigerated it for 1 hour.
  6. After 1 hour preheat the oven for 10 min and bake the cookies at180 degree celcious for 14-15 mins.
  7. For Rose and almond cookies
  8. To the second part add rose extract and roasted and ground almonds and combine well.
  9. Shape them in to a log and refrigerate it for 1 hour and then bake it in preheated(10 mins) oven in 180 degree celcious for 14-15 mins.
  10. For Pistachio cookies
  11. To the 3 part add vanilla extract and grounded pistachio and form it into a log.
  12. Refrigerate for an hour and than bake it for 14-15 mins in preheated oven at 180 degree celcious.
  13. Store these cookies in airtight container and enjoy.
