ABOUT Fodni Mirchi RECIPE

Not very pungent though give a punch to the daal rice combo especially.Green chillies stuffed with mix of corriander powder,turmeric salt and some curds mixed to give the tang.Lightly shallow fried with fodni ie tempering of rai ,can be used ,enjoyed instantly.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 5-10 fresh Fodni green chillies
  2. 1/2 tspn turmeric
  3. 1 tspn dhaniya powder
  4. 1tspn aamchur powder
  5. 1/2 tspn zeera powder
  6. 1/2 tspn rai seeds
  7. Salt to taste
  8. 2 tspn curds to mix

Instructions

  1. Wash and slit green chillies
  2. Keep the spices ready too
  3. Mix curd with the spices making a paste
  4. Fill the slit chillies with 1/2 tspn paste approximately
  5. Heat oil in a pan and on slow flame put these with some rai on side as fodni the/baghar
  6. Toss turn on slow flame
  7. As colour changes and skin gets done remove in plate
  8. Browning is a choice
  9. Serve with daal rice enjoy this tangy Fodni mirch
