Penne pasta in tomato sauce with cheese

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Penne pasta - 2 cups
  2. Onion - 1/2 (chopped)
  3. Butter - 2 tbsp
  4. Garlic - 1 tbsp(finely chopped)
  5. Tomatoes -2 (chopped)
  6. Green peas - 1/3 cup
  7. Beans - 1/4 cup(chopped)
  8. Capsicum - 1 tbsp(chopped)
  9. Tomato purée - 1/2 cup
  10. Tomato sauce - 1 tbsp
  11. Mix herbs - 1/2 tbsp
  12. Salt - As required
  13. Cheese - 1/2 cup
  14. Water - As required

Instructions

  1. Take a large vessel, pour water and boil.
  2. Stir in, add salt and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. After 15 minutes drain it and keep aside.
  4. In a pan, heat butter.
  5. Add onions and garlic.
  6. Add tomatoes, peas, beans and capsicum.
  7. Mix well and sauté.
  8. Cook on low flame.
  9. Add tomato purée and sauce.
  10. Add salt and mix herbs.
  11. Finally, add boiled pasta and mix all well.
  12. Cook for a minute and add grated cheese.
  13. Sprinkle some more herbs over pasta and enjoy.
