Idli pindi rotti is traditional south Indian breakfast recipe.Left out with idli batter got bored of making idlies again, then heres an interesting recepie, using leftout idly batter.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Oil for frying
  2. Left over idli batter 1 cup(500 ml)
  3. 1 onion finely chopped
  4. 2 Green chillies finely chopped
  5. Salt to taste
  6. 1 inch ginger grated
  7. Few curry leaves chopped
  8. Few coriander leaves

Instructions

  1. in a bowl take 1 cup (500ml) Left over idli batter.
  2. add 1 onion finely chopped, 2 green chillies chopped, 1 inch ginger grated, few Curry leaves, coriander leaves chopped, salt (little) to taste.
  3. heat a nonstick pan and grease with oil.
  4. pour a ladleful of prepared batter. do not spread.
  5. add 1 tsp oil, close with lid medium flame and cook
  6. flip over the idli Pindi rotti, and medium flame for 3 mins or until cooked through.
  7. serve hot with onion tomato chutney
