ABOUT Mango Chutney RECIPE

Tangy sweet salty dish of raw mango pulps, ideal to end your meal with, a change in taste buds.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Raw mango pulp 150 gms
  2. Paanch Phoron 1 tablespoon
  3. Sugar 300 gms
  4. Salt 1 pinch
  5. Turmeric powder 1 pinch
  6. Sunflower oil 1/2 tablespoon

Instructions

  1. Add oil in a pan, heat it and add the panch phoron (mouri, black cumin, methi, black mustard, radhooni) and fry them.
  2. Add the mango pulp to it and fry them for a few minutes.
  3. Add salt and a pinch of turmeric powder to it and water. Cook till the mango starts melting.
  4. Add sugar and a little bit of water and cover the lid and keep on a mild flame.
  5. When the whole things turns thick turn off the oven and serve.
  6. Tastes best when cold.
